About the role

The Production Digitization Specialist will support BELUPO’s digital transformation initiatives within the manufacturing environment. The role focuses on converting production requirements into functional IT solutions and ensuring reliable operation of digital systems.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in projects that digitize and integrate production systems.
• Gather, analyse, and translate user requirements from the shop floor into functional and technical specifications.
• Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of digital solutions in the manufacturing setting.
• Develop digital solutions that digitise processes within existing IT platforms (e.g., MBR/EBR).
• Collaborate with IT, technical, and production teams to guarantee operational reliability of systems.
• Provide technical and operational support to users of production‑related IT systems.
• Prepare and revise documentation related to IT systems and production processes.

Required profile

• Higher education in a technical, informatics, pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnological or related field.
• At least three years of experience with IT systems in a production environment.
• Strong interest in digital solutions and the application of IT in manufacturing.
• Excellent analytical, logical thinking and structured problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
