About the role

We are looking for a Production Equipment Qualification Specialist to join our team in Rijeka. The role involves preparing qualification documentation, overseeing equipment qualification and adjustment, and ensuring compliance with validation plans within a leading Croatian pharmaceutical company.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare qualification documentation in collaboration with internal users and partners.
• Develop and manage qualification and adjustment programs for production equipment, ensuring timely execution of qualifications, adjustments, and preventive maintenance according to the validation plan.
• Supervise installation and qualification of new equipment, either independently or with external partners, providing expert support to internal users.
• Create simple User Requirement Specifications (URS) and contribute to more complex URS documentation.
• Participate in verification of new equipment before delivery and after installation, and support commissioning.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and industry trends, implementing them into qualification processes.

Required profile

• Higher education in a technical or biomedical field (e.g., engineering, pharmacy, biotechnology, chemistry).
• At least 1 year of experience in similar roles within production industries.
• Understanding of equipment qualification and adjustment concepts.
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving orientation, and ability to work in dynamic conditions.
• Strong personal responsibility, safety awareness, and teamwork mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• English language proficiency at level B or higher.
