Senior Robot Software QA Engineer

About the role

Jungheinrich Robotics designs the autonomy stack for its automation portfolio, deploying robots in mission-critical environments where precision, uptime and robustness are essential. As a Senior Robot Software QA Engineer in Zagreb, you will own the testing and release processes and ensure robots perform reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the QA strategy and release roadmap, driving quality in every released feature
• Act as a quality evangelist, mentoring junior engineers and promoting a Quality-First culture
• Work with developers to design, implement, run and maintain release QA procedures
• Analyze, troubleshoot and report complex problems before they reach customers
• Automate tests, including unit tests, integration tests, functional hardware-in-the-loop tests and robot performance tests
• Track, summarize and communicate test progress, release readiness and quality risks to stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in robotics, IT, mechatronics, mechanical and production engineering or similar
• 3+ years of software QA experience, preferably in robotics, automotive or embedded systems
• Good understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, networks, IT and Linux
• Fluent English; proactive, independent and comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Required skills

• ROS/ROS2 and simulation environments
• Python and/or C++
• Git for collaborative development and branch management
• Jenkins or similar build automation tools and deployment concepts
