SAP AVC Expert

About the role

Jungheinrich, a company with over 30 years of experience in software and digital products for intralogistics, is looking for an SAP AVC Expert in Zagreb. The role owns the target architecture for moving from classic LO-VC to SAP S/4HANA AVC, including migration principles, modeling decisions and rollout standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the target architecture for the transition from classic LO-VC to SAP S/4HANA AVC, including migration principles, modeling decisions and rollout standards.
• Define scalable modeling standards for characteristics, classes, dependencies, characteristic groups, constraints and variant tables.
• Design and implement enterprise-grade AVC models supporting end-to-end configuration across sales, planning, production and engineering.
• Harmonize configuration logic across Product Engineering, Product Data, Sales and Operations.
• Redesign legacy models toward table-driven, constraint-based, high-quality AVC structures.
• Establish governance for model quality, simulation, testing and controlled change.
• Ensure clean integration of configurable BOMs, routings and downstream business processes from order capture to production execution.

Required profile

• Extensive hands-on and architectural experience in SAP Variant Configuration, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA AVC.
• Proven track record in LO-VC to AVC transition programs or major redesigns of complex configuration landscapes.
• Experience defining modeling standards, governance principles and reusable design patterns for large product portfolios.
• Confident leading cross-functional decisions across engineering, product data, sales, manufacturing and IT.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Experience with complex configurable products in machinery, industrial equipment or intralogistics is highly desirable.
