Robot Software QA Engineer

About the role

Jungheinrich Robotics designs the autonomy stack for its automation portfolio, deploying robots in mission-critical environments where precision, uptime and robustness are essential. It is looking for a Software QA Engineer in Zagreb who takes ownership of the testing and release processes and ensures every release meets high standards for performance, safety and stability.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the development team to design, implement, execute and maintain release QA procedures for the products.
• Share responsibility for quality in all released features and help improve testing and release processes.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and report complex problems before they reach customers.
• Improve the software quality framework by automating integration tests, system tests and robot performance tests.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in robotics, IT, mechatronics, mechanical and production engineering or similar.
• Experience with robotic and/or embedded software development.
• Basic understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, networks, IT and Linux.
• Proactive, independent, comfortable in a fast-paced environment; fluent in English.
• Nice to have: ISTQB certification, experience testing autonomous mobile robots, familiarity with Agile, and experience with Jenkins or similar build automation tools.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Linux, Python and/or C++.
• Some knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System).
