About the role
We are looking for a motivated retail sales associate to work in our tobacco shop located in Zagreb. The role involves assisting customers and handling sales of newspapers, cigarettes, other tobacco products, alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, and confectionery. The position is on‑site and requires direct interaction with customers.
Key responsibilities
- Serve customers and provide product information.
- Process sales of tobacco, beverages and confectionery items.
- Maintain the shop’s presentation, check product expiry dates and restock shelves as needed.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point‑of‑sale system.
- Ensure compliance with legal age restrictions for tobacco sales.
- Work in two daily shifts: 07:00‑14:30 or 14:30‑22:00.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge of computer operation.
- Ability to work flexible shift schedules.
- Reliability and customer‑oriented attitude.
- One day off per week.
Required skills
- Basic computer skills.
