About the role

The company Lareto Group is looking for a diligent accountant/bookkeeper to join its finance team in Zagreb. You will handle daily bookkeeping, invoice processing and support the audit preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and verify URA/IRA and other accounting documents.
• Prepare and cancel invoices for customers as needed.
• Monitor IRA and URA status in relation to Fiscalisation 2.0.
• Perform daily bank statement reconciliations.
• Reconcile customer and supplier account balances, including adjustments and communications.
• Track public notices of bankruptcy or insolvency of partners and take collection actions.
• Prepare and send debt reports to sales representatives.
• Draft and dispatch contracts to customers.
• Maintain various administrative records required by management.
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including bank deposits.
• Perform other accounting‑related administrative tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education in economics or accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience in similar accounting roles.
• Basic knowledge of English.
• High level of conscientiousness, discipline, accuracy and organization.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to develop professionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
