About the role

The Customs and Cargo Supervisor ensures smooth handling of inbound and outbound containers and trucks at the Rijeka terminal. The role involves inspecting cargo, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with shipping lines and agents to resolve operational issues while adhering to safety and HSSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing containers and trucks.
• Record the condition of containers, trailers and chassis and report any damages.
• Verify seals, documentation and other required data.
• Communicate with shipping lines and agents to address operational questions.
• Prepare and maintain necessary logs and reports.
• Work in compliance with the company's safety, quality and HSSE standards.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience, preferably in a port, logistics or customs environment.
• Knowledge of customs procedures is an advantage.
• Secondary school education (SSS); maritime or port industry knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency in Croatian and English.

Required skills

• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and quality focus.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office tools.
