About the role

Barcaffe Academia, a specialty coffee bar located in the heart of Zagreb's business district, is looking for a motivated individual to join the team as a waiter/waitress. The role focuses on delivering a pleasant experience for guests while working in a dynamic, coffee‑centric environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in line with company standards.
• Prepare hot and cold drinks, including coffee, tea, and juices.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the work area, bar, and inventory.
• Handle cash register operations and process payments.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through professional communication.
• Follow hygiene standards and procedural guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to provide seamless service.

Required profile

• Secondary education (SSS) completed.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude toward guests and colleagues.
• Responsible, accurate, and meticulous work habits.
• Team‑oriented, flexible, energetic, and positive.
• Hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of English.
• Barista skills – experience preparing coffee and related beverages.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Resourcefulness in a dynamic environment.
