About the role

We are looking for a diligent accountant to manage the financial books of micro‑ and small‑business clients in Zagreb. The role involves comprehensive bookkeeping, tax compliance, and support for day‑to‑day financial operations.

Key responsibilities

Maintain business books for micro and small enterprises and trades.
Record URA and IRA entries, calculate VAT, and handle both tangible and intangible asset accounting.
Perform bank statement reconciliation.
Calculate travel expense reimbursements.
Stay up‑to‑date with Croatian tax and accounting regulations.

Required profile

Proven experience working in an accounting service.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proactive attitude with creative problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

VAT accounting
Asset accounting (tangible and intangible)
Bank reconciliation
Travel expense calculation
Knowledge of Croatian tax regulations
