Global Site Activation Manager – Homebased

About the role

Syneos Health is seeking a Global Site Activation Manager to work remotely from Croatia. The role involves overseeing site start‑up activities across multiple functional areas and ensuring project deliverables meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Development, Alliance Management, Contracts, SSU Country Managers, Project Management, Clinical, Data Management and Medical Writing teams.
• Identify and resolve site start‑up issues, regulatory pathways, patient enrollment challenges and provide accurate projections, reports and risk mitigation.
• Oversee all start‑up deliverables from site selection through activation and life‑cycle maintenance, including regulatory submissions, ethics committee communications and budget management.
• Develop and manage integrated site start‑up timelines, present SSU strategy to clients and ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience managing site activation and start‑up activities in clinical trials.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, ethics committee submissions and clinical trial agreements.
• Ability to develop relationships with customers and internal stakeholders and to communicate project status effectively.
