Fresh Meat and Fish Sales Associate

About the role

Join SPAR Croatia as a Fresh Meat and Fish Sales Associate, responsible for preparing high‑quality products for customers in our stores across multiple locations. You will work directly with fresh meat and fish, ensuring safety, hygiene and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Cut, slice and process fresh meat and fish, preparing them for sale.
• Prepare products for packaging and display in store showcases.
• Receive and check deliveries from the central warehouse and direct suppliers.
• Apply HACCP system requirements and maintain strict hygiene standards.
• Keep work surfaces clean and uphold personal cleanliness.
• Participate in regular inventory counts.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable advice to customers.

Required profile

• Completed vocational education in the food sector (KV) or any secondary school (SSS) with relevant experience.
• Reliability, dedication and punctuality.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP food safety system.
• Experience with meat and fish processing techniques.
