Finance Business Partner (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Finance Business Partner you will provide end‑to‑end business partnering and controlling support for innovation and product development activities across the entire product lifecycle at SICK MOBILISIS. You will work closely with national and international sales and manufacturing subsidiaries to deliver transparent, data‑driven insights that enable strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support innovation and product development from idea generation through market launch, growth, maturity and end‑of‑life phases.
• Analyse innovation investments, business cases, project performance and lifecycle profitability to aid strategic decisions.
• Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards and reporting frameworks for R&D and product portfolio performance.
• Assist management in strategy development, planning, operational management and control.
• Identify profit‑improvement opportunities by creating transparency and initiating corrective measures.
• Participate in functional expert groups to continuously improve financial methods and tools.
• Lead or contribute to organizational projects and work packages.
• Collaborate with sales and manufacturing subsidiaries across borders.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, preferably accounting, auditing or finance.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in controlling or comparable business functions.
• High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
• Interest in technical solutions and their marketing to industrial customers.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive and detail‑oriented approach.
• Fluency in English.
