About the role

The Director OPEX (Operational Excellence) will lead the OPEX department, define programmes and standards, set annual plans and objectives, and actively participate in transformation projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the OPEX department and establish the strategic roadmap for operational excellence.
• Design and implement OPEX programmes, standards, and yearly project plans.
• Initiate, support and monitor OPEX project teams, ensuring a results‑oriented focus.
• Maximise data value by developing and managing reporting systems, integrating data environments and measuring KPIs.
• Ensure development, engagement and readiness of human resources, providing clear communication, education and motivation for management, staff and target‑area teams.

Required profile

• University degree in biomedical, technological or related operations management fields.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in OPEX programmes and transformations in manufacturing.
• Advanced knowledge of OPEX methodology and pharmaceutical industry processes.
• Proven leadership and assertive communication skills through team management.
• Strong analytical abilities for data handling and KPI measurement.
• Well‑developed risk and priority management skills with strategic decision‑making capability.
• Fluent use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and English at B2 level or higher.
• Valid category B driving licence.
