Corporate Lawyer (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Corporate Lawyer to join Croatia Airlines in Zagreb. You will provide comprehensive legal support across contracts, regulatory compliance, passenger compensation, insurance, and HR matters within the aviation sector.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and control all types of contracts and related documentation for the Company.
• Monitor aviation regulations, prepare legal opinions and cooperate with competent authorities.
• Handle passenger compensation claims in line with EU261 and national legislation.
• Participate in aircraft damage processing and insurance matters.
• Provide legal support to HR, including collective bargaining.
• Represent the Company before courts and state bodies, preparing all necessary submissions.
• Support internal departments with legal advice and ensure alignment of internal acts, processes and procedures.
• Assess legal risks and propose measures to enhance the Company’s legal protection.
• Perform other standard legal tasks as required.

Required profile

• Degree in law or a Master’s degree (minimum 300 ECTS).
• Excellent command of English.
• Proficiency with computer tools.
• Strong knowledge of EU aviation regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Initiative, independence and strong organisational skills.
• Motivation, teamwork orientation and a desire for continuous professional development, especially in aviation law.
