Butcher (m/ž) – Retail Meat Department

About the role

We are looking for a knowledgeable butcher to join our retail meat department. You will be the go‑to expert for customers seeking the best cuts, offering culinary advice and ensuring a high‑quality shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Display and sell fresh meat and processed meat products.
• Prepare meat products according to established recipes and standards.
• Monitor and control expiry dates of fresh and packaged meat.
• Maintain stock levels, cleanliness and orderliness of the department.
• Provide expert advice to customers on cuts, preparation and cooking.

Required profile

• Secondary school education in the food sector (butcher specialization).
• Minimum 6 months experience in meat sales.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with a focus on service quality.
• Polite communication with customers and colleagues.
• Neat, responsible, and ready to work in a team.
• Valid hygiene and sanitary certification.
