Application Analyst I – Planning Analytics

About the role

We are looking for an Application Analyst I to join our Digital Enablement and Applied Intelligence team in Zagreb. You will support IBM Planning Analytics solutions, helping business users with planning, reporting and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Support IBM Planning Analytics applications and related planning and reporting processes.
• Administer and maintain Planning Analytics local environments to ensure stability and usability.
• Provide installation, configuration, troubleshooting and user support for Planning Analytics Workspace and Planning Analytics for Excel.
• Monitor, prioritize, triage and resolve application incidents, service requests and user‑reported issues.
• Assist with software upgrades, patching, deployments, environment refreshes, release validation and production support.
• Collaborate with senior administrators and developers to learn best practices in platform administration and development.
• Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, operational procedures and user guidance.
• Work with infrastructure, database, application and integration teams to ensure platform reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of databases, SQL and enterprise reporting tools.
• Interest in learning IBM Planning Analytics, TM1, Planning Analytics Workspace and Planning Analytics for Excel.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across technical and business teams.
