Analytics & Finance Manager, International

About the role

Grüns is hiring an Analytics & Finance Manager for its international business. You will apply strategic thinking and quantitative expertise to own and scale analytics, partnering with senior international leaders to evaluate performance, surface opportunities and drive execution as the company expands globally. The role is fully remote within a global headquarters, and candidates based in or around Europe are considered most successful.

Key responsibilities

• Own analytics for the international business and act as a trusted partner to international leadership
• Identify business challenges and growth opportunities and turn data into strategic and tactical recommendations
• Use structured problem-solving frameworks: develop hypotheses, tests and analyses, lead implementation and set up monitoring plans
• Build, navigate and manipulate large datasets with advanced SQL to answer ad hoc and strategic questions
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast the impact of new strategies, opportunities and risks, and measure performance against expectations
• Design and maintain long-term BI dashboards to give international performance insights to everyone
• Turn complex analyses into clear, executive-ready presentations
• Solve ambiguous, cross-functional problems independently with minimal guidance

Required profile

• BS/MS degree in a quantitative or computational field
• 5+ years of data analytics experience in corporate, consulting or investment banking
• Fluent English
• Comfortable presenting international numbers in the context of a US company going global
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and the ability to own senior stakeholder relationships
• Growth mindset, high ownership and comfort in a fast-paced, startup environment

Required skills

• Advanced SQL
• Excel and PowerPoint, including preparing executive decks
• Looker dashboards strongly preferred
• R and Python preferred
