Software Quality Engineer (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer who will drive continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines, build and release processes, and automated testing strategies. The role supports the delivery of high‑quality, installer‑based software for industrial SCADA solutions used in water and energy sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Improve and maintain CI/CD, build and release workflows to ensure reliable, reproducible software deliveries.
• Design and implement automated testing suites, including unit, UI and regression tests.
• Set up and manage test and staging environments for Windows‑based installer delivery.
• Document best practices and facilitate knowledge transfer within the development team.
• Support the SCADA product RITOP (based on Siemens WinCC OA) and evaluate Docker‑based development solutions.
• Identify and act on opportunities to optimise development, testing and release processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in software development, CI/CD, build engineering or test automation.
• Strong English communication skills; German at B2 level minimum.

• CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance.

• Docker containerisation.
• Linux‑based test environments (advantage).
• Object‑oriented programming (C++, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript).
