QA Team Leader

About the role

EveryMatrix is seeking a passionate QA Team Leader to drive quality assurance initiatives for its iGaming SaaS platform. Based in Zagreb, you will lead a small team, shape testing strategies, and ensure high‑quality releases for a global customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Define, develop and implement QA best practices, test plans and testing strategies.
• Automate tests using Playwright with JavaScript and maintain robust test scripts.
• Execute comprehensive testing types: Black Box, Grey Box, Exploratory, Smoke, Regression and End‑to‑End.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on defects and provide detailed replication steps.
• Create and present test results, manage bug life‑cycle and conduct regression testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers to identify, reproduce and resolve issues.
• Document issues accurately and share constructive feedback.
• Lead and mentor a team of two QA engineers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software testing.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with issue‑tracking (JIRA) and test‑management tools (TestRail).
• Experience with Java‑based testing frameworks such as TestNG and Spring.
• Knowledge of CI tools and ability to write SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC and various testing methodologies.
• Experience testing on mobile and desktop platforms.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical mindset and proactive attitude.

What we offer

• Salary range €3,200 – €3,600 gross per month.
• On‑site work with a flexible start time between 8:00 am and 10:00 am.
• 23 days of annual leave (increasing with tenure).
