About the role

The company is looking for a proactive Financial Accountant to independently manage accounting and bookkeeping tasks for its clients and internal operations. You will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring compliance with Croatian accounting regulations and supporting the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting, including posting URA, IRA, bank statements and reconciling documents.
• Process payroll, travel expenses and prepare the JOPPD report.
• Apply current accounting standards and regulations.
• Calculate VAT, manage cash register and maintain the general ledger.
• Handle net‑banking payments and interact with e‑tax platforms (ePorezna, eFina, eMirovinsko).
• Prepare year‑end financial statements, tax reports and optional GFI reports.
• Provide additional accounting and advisory services to clients.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics or Finance.
• Minimum three years of experience in financial accounting.
• Strong attention to detail, responsibility and organizational skills.
• Active use of English at B2 level.
• Excellent computer proficiency.
