Finance Associate (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Associate to join our accounting team in Zagreb. You will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting the continuous improvement of our financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Post incoming and outgoing invoices and bank statements.
• Monitor petty cash and reconcile financial records.
• Reconcile customer and supplier balances and account ledgers.
• Verify the accuracy and consistency of accounting data across systems.
• Identify discrepancies in automated accounting processes and resolve them promptly.
• Collaborate with external accounting providers and prepare required documentation.
• Monitor receivables and manage the dunning process.
• Support the improvement and development of internal financial and accounting processes.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience posting invoices and handling financial documentation.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and data verification.
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy and reliability.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with a desire to learn and grow.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Familiarity with Pantheon ERP (advantage).
