Facility Maintenance Team Lead

About the role

The Facility Maintenance Team Lead will ensure safe, reliable operation of critical infrastructure at Rimac Technology's plant in Kerestinec. You will oversee electrical, HVAC, and utility systems, driving high availability and production continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and operation of electrical infrastructure (transformers, medium‑ and low‑voltage distribution, switchgear, protection, UPS, emergency power).
• Manage industrial utilities and building systems including HVAC, AHUs, BMS, heating/cooling, compressed air, water, pumps, drainage and humidification.
• Develop and continuously improve preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programmes based on asset criticality.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, troubleshooting and corrective actions for infrastructure failures.
• Plan and coordinate shutdowns, electrical switching, system interventions and controlled restarts with risk assessments.
• Lead, mentor and schedule the internal maintenance team and manage external contractors to ensure quality, safety and cost efficiency.
• Support commissioning, handover and acceptance of new or modified systems, ensuring documentation, training and spare‑part readiness.
• Provide technical input for budgeting, spare‑part planning and lifecycle management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical education.
• Several years of experience in facility maintenance, industrial utilities or critical infrastructure within a large manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of medium‑ and low‑voltage electrical distribution, transformers, switchgear and power quality.
• Proficiency with industrial HVAC, AHUs, BMS, heating/cooling, compressed air and other utility systems.
