Production Planner – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Production Planner to develop and implement production plans that align with customer demand, stock levels and plant capacity. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure raw materials, equipment and manpower are available to meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, inventory and capacity.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics and production teams to secure raw materials, equipment and workforce.
• Identify bottlenecks, propose and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Communicate schedules and updates to stakeholders and ensure traceability for KPI tracking.
• Participate in daily production meetings to monitor output versus targets and address gaps.
• Resolve planning and material management issues using analytical methods.
• Support continuous improvement of quality, cost and delivery performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations or related field, or at least 3 years of production planning experience.
• Proven experience in production planning, material management and inventory control within the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of mathematics and statistics for data analysis.
