About the role

The Risk Modeling Analyst will support Raiffeisenbank Austria in developing and maintaining internal credit risk models that enable sound decision‑making, effective risk management and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, improve and calibrate internal credit risk models.
• Analyse data, verify its quality and define assumptions for model development.
• Test model performance and document results in line with regulatory and group requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, present findings and help apply models in practice.
• Participate in process automation, introduce new methodologies and monitor analytical trends.

Required profile

• University degree in mathematics, computer science, economics or a related field.
• Analytical mindset, structured approach and ability to handle large data sets.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and good command of English.
• Experience in analytics, risk modelling or the financial sector is a plus.
• Proactive, responsible, team‑oriented and eager to learn.
