Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our innovative team in Varaždin. You will be responsible for maintaining our accounting system in line with international standards and supporting the financial health of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the accounting system according to IAS, IFRS and HSFI regulations.
• Perform bookkeeping, manage accounting records and ensure accurate documentation.
• Monitor changes in accounting, finance and tax legislation.
• Conduct control activities on accounting documentation and reconcile the general ledger with analytical records.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, tax calculations and management analyses.
• Participate in external and internal audits and cooperate with tax authorities, banks and other institutions.
• Collaborate daily with internal departments and specialists.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, preferably accounting, auditing or finance.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting practices, financial regulations and tax legislation.
• Fluent English with excellent analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
