About the role

The Croatian Transmission System Operator is seeking a motivated trainee to join the Business Integration sector, supporting the operation of the Energy Exchange System (EES) within the Monitoring and Control Systems department. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers hands‑on experience in a critical part of the national power grid.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the integration of business processes related to EES operations.
• Support the monitoring and control of power system assets using SCADA tools.
• Participate in testing and documentation of real‑time communication protocols.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on software development and database management tasks.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of a foreign language.
• Proficiency with computer applications.

Required skills

• Programming in Python and C#.
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of SCADA systems and real‑time communication protocols.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
