SOX IT Auditor

About the role

The SOX IT Auditor will lead annual internal IT SOX audits across countries, processes, and systems within the IT SOX scope. You will collaborate with business representatives, external auditors, IT project managers, and system owners to ensure compliance and mitigate risks affecting financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform annual internal IT SOX audits and prepare IT General and Application Controls.
• Test controls in access, change, backup, operations, and program development domains.
• Identify and assess IT dependencies, evaluate critical risk points, and produce audit reports.
• Monitor remediation activities and provide guidance throughout system lifecycles.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Management, Information Management or equivalent.
• Knowledge of industrial business processes (finance, HR, sales, procurement, inventory, production).
• Familiarity with QA and IT best practices (ISO, ITIL, COBIT) and audit methodologies.
• Fluency in English, strong analytical and communication skills, and a team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and other Office applications.
