Waiter / Waitress – Self-Service Restaurant

About the role

BTA HRVATSKA d.o.o., a food service operator known for new concepts and quality, is looking for a waiter or waitress for its restaurant at Dr. Franjo Tuđman Airport in Velika Gorica. The work is self-service and involves sales conversations and customer care.

Key responsibilities

• Serve customers on a self-service basis and lead sales conversations
• Create a pleasant shopping environment and take responsibility for successful sales
• Check counters, products, expiry dates, cupboards and bins before each shift, count the till and cash drawer, and set up received goods
• Keep your area clean and organised during the shift
• Welcome guests, take orders using upselling techniques, prepare orders according to the unit concept, accept payment, return change, issue receipts and send guests away
• Restock shelves, clean the area and hand over to the next shift at the end of the shift

Required profile

• Experience in similar jobs is an advantage
• Organisation, flexibility, independence and good communication
