About the role

The Food Sector Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the basic food and beverage assortment (dry goods) or the dairy and frozen range in SPAR stores across multiple locations in Croatia. The role ensures efficient, coordinated work, high product quality, and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Organise work on basic food items, beverages, dairy and frozen products.
• Lead and coordinate staff to achieve efficient store operations.
• Prepare accurate and timely orders.
• Check displayed prices, use‑by dates, quantities and product quality.
• Coordinate and monitor product sales during promotional actions.
• Take responsibility for achieving business results.
• Implement HACCP system requirements.
• Maintain hygiene of work surfaces and personal appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Open and close the store.
• Provide courteous, knowledgeable service and advice to customers.

Required profile

• Secondary school education (SSS).
• Experience in retail, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Good knowledge of the product assortment.
• Reliability and neatness in task execution.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP system.
• Basic computer operation.
