About the role

The Maintenance Department Manager will lead the planning, organization and supervision of all building, installation and equipment maintenance activities at MEDIKA's Zagreb facilities. You will ensure technical compliance, support investment projects and drive continuous improvement of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and monitor maintenance of buildings, installations, equipment and systems.
• Lead, develop and mentor the department staff.
• Coordinate internal teams, external service providers and suppliers.
• Guarantee technical correctness of equipment and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain temperature conditions in storage areas.
• Participate in investment project preparation and execution.
• Prepare and track annual cost and investment plans, reporting to senior management.
• Monitor energy consumption and manage supplier contracts.
• Collaborate with Quality and Logistics departments and support inspections and audits.

Required profile

• Technical university degree, preferably mechanical or energy engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in similar maintenance roles.
• Proven experience in leading and coordinating staff.
• Strong knowledge of relevant construction maintenance regulations.
• Team‑oriented, proactive, responsible and independent.
• Advanced English language proficiency.
• Valid B‑category driving licence.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
