About the role

The Cleaning Department Manager leads the cleaning operations of Pleter-usluge, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, internal policies, and industry standards. The role involves planning, budgeting, quality management, and continuous improvement of service delivery across all client locations.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, coordinate and supervise cleaning staff in line with legislation and company procedures.
• Plan and control financial resources for the cleaning activity, preparing inputs for the annual business plan.
• Participate in the implementation of the quality management system and monitor performance against targets.
• Prepare tender documentation, draft offers and support the sector director in bid submissions.
• Conduct regular site visits, create service reports and ensure contractual compliance.
• Analyse market needs, develop new business opportunities and propose equipment upgrades.
• Oversee material‑financial documentation, manage expenses, and ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Monitor working hours records and enforce occupational safety and health measures.

Required profile

• Completed secondary or higher education in a technical or social field (SSS/VŠS/VSS).
• Proven experience in managing cleaning or facility‑service teams.
• Strong knowledge of Croatian labour, safety and environmental regulations.
• Ability to prepare financial forecasts, tender documents and performance analyses.
