About the role

The Office Commercialist will lead the food and beverage category, managing the product assortment and driving sales growth. This position combines category management, supplier negotiation and market analysis in a dynamic export‑import environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the food and beverage category, overseeing product range development.
• Manage assortment and expand the assigned product portfolio.
• Achieve planned financial targets for the category.
• Maintain daily communication with partners and suppliers.
• Select suppliers and products, negotiate prices, procurement terms and set sales prices.
• Plan and execute marketing activities for the category.
• Monitor market trends, competition and price movements, reacting promptly to changes.
• Generate and analyse reports to support data‑driven business decisions.
• Develop and manage a private label, tracking sales results and market position.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and conduct regular retail visits.

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education (SSS / VŠS / VSS).
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid Category B driver’s licence.
