Trader – Institutional Clients (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated trader to join the Trading and Distribution Directorate, focusing on institutional clients. You will work in a dynamic team, handling a wide range of fixed‑income products and contributing to the bank’s market‑making activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage market‑making activities for government bonds with a strong focus on risk‑adjusted yields.
• Price and execute transactions across a broad spectrum of fixed‑income products, currencies and maturities while maintaining competitive client pricing.
• Dynamically manage trading risk using bonds, interest‑rate derivatives and other relevant instruments.
• Generate trading ideas based on macro‑economic trends, technical factors and issuer fundamentals.
• Contribute to the development of trading strategies, pricing methodologies, automation initiatives and quantitative tools.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with other units within the bank.
• Monitor market movements and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and proactively manage risk.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; a master’s degree in economics, mathematics, physics, engineering or a related field is a plus.
• Deep understanding of bond markets, relative‑value analysis and market‑risk management.
• Proven ability to manage trading positions and make sound risk‑taking decisions in a fast‑moving environment.
• Possession of an ACI Dealing certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Broker or investment‑advisor licence is advantageous.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
