About the role

River Solutions is looking for a field‑oriented technician who enjoys hands‑on work, technology and solving problems on site. The role covers installation, configuration, maintenance and service of various technical systems at customer locations, ranging from computer networks and Wi‑Fi to video surveillance, alarm, access control and automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain LAN/Wi‑Fi networks and related equipment.
• Mount and configure video‑surveillance systems.
• Work on intrusion‑detection and access‑control systems.
• Install and maintain automation and smart‑installation solutions.
• Lay, connect and test network and signal installations.
• Configure IP devices, switches, routers, cameras and other network gear.
• Diagnose and resolve field faults.
• Commission systems and perform functional testing.
• Provide technical support to users.
• Maintain basic documentation and work orders.

Required profile

• Technical secondary or higher education (electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, mechatronics or similar).
• Good knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi‑Fi) and basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Responsible, reliable and able to work independently on site.
• Clear communication with customers and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Valid category B driving licence.

Required skills

• LAN/Wi‑Fi network configuration.
• Video‑surveillance installation (IP cameras, NVR/DVR).
• Access‑control and alarm system handling.
• Automation platforms (e.g., Loxone).
• Experience with MikroTik, UniFi or similar networking equipment.
• Network troubleshooting and diagnostics.
