Core Architect & Integration Lead – Applied AI

About the role

zerohash's Applied AI team builds an internal Intelligence Core and external agentic‑commerce products. This senior engineering role will own the access layer, audit logging, and system architecture that securely connects company systems and provides verifiable records of agent actions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the access layer (native connectors, MCP servers, Databricks US/EU) using short‑lived tokens, least‑privilege read‑only access, and zero raw PII while enforcing data residency.
• Define versioned schemas for signed credential and action records, and build deployment pipelines, policy‑as‑code, and signed builds with SBOMs.
• Build the authority lease service with kill switches and capture events in append‑only, hash‑chained logs for tamper‑evident auditing.
• Extend the Core from read‑only to bounded write with idempotency keys, compensating actions, and multi‑approver time‑locks for monetary moves.
• Design cross‑institution primitives, signed mandates, scoped authority, and attestation receipts compatible with standards such as x402, AP2, and MPP.

Required profile

• Senior Python‑first backend engineer with production experience in event‑driven systems, API integration, and CI/CD.
• Experience building LLM‑based agent systems (Claude, GPT, Bedrock or comparable) and keeping models at the edge with a deterministic control plane.
• Security‑first mindset in regulated environments (MSB/VASP, bank) with habit of least‑privilege and read‑only access.
• Familiarity with capability‑based authorization, attenuable tokens, workload identity, and policy‑as‑code.
