About the role

The company seeks a Laboratory Technician to support chemical analyses in a tobacco‑product manufacturing environment. You will work on sample preparation, conduct tests according to established procedures, and ensure laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory samples for various analyses and place them for conditioning.
• Perform analyses following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment daily.
• Check results and notify the Laboratory Coordinator/Engineer of any non‑conformities.
• Conduct equipment checks before each analysis and monitor laboratory conditions during testing.
• Implement corrective actions and document technical records in line with HRN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
• Participate in inter‑laboratory analyses and compliance trainings.

Required profile

• Secondary school education in chemistry, food technology or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of working in a chemical laboratory.
• Strong communication skills, precision and manual dexterity.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Elementary level of English.
• Ability to work according to SOPs and a quality management system.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HRN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Experience with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for laboratory analyses.
• Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Technical documentation and record‑keeping.
