Technical Expert E-Powertrain / Drives

About the role

Jungheinrich, with over 30 years of experience in software and digital products for intralogistics, is looking for a Technical Expert (m/w/d) E-Powertrain / Drives in Zagreb. The role covers technical responsibility for the further development of electric drive systems and high-voltage technologies within the industrial truck development division.

Key responsibilities

• Define and coordinate system requirements for powertrain components such as electric motors, power electronics, energy storage systems, high-voltage architectures and their control functions.
• Manage and coordinate technical development activities in cross-functional projects and lead development teams and partners.
• Evaluate new technologies, concepts and components for electric drivetrains, high-voltage systems and electrification.
• Support the design, integration and validation of powertrain systems throughout the product development process.
• Act as point of contact for technical questions on electric powertrains and support strategic technology decisions.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or a comparable discipline.
• Several years of experience developing electric drive systems, power electronics, high-voltage systems or electrified vehicle architectures.
• Very good understanding of electric powertrains and their interaction within a vehicle.
• Experience managing development projects technically or coordinating interdisciplinary teams.
• Structured, analytical approach and strong communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
