Technical Development Support Specialist / Design Support

About the role

Jungheinrich, with over 30 years of experience in software and digital product development, is looking for a colleague to support design and development engineers in creating, maintaining and documenting technical product documentation. The main focus is drafting, implementing and verifying design specifications, plus administrative and documentation tasks within the development process and SAP.

Key responsibilities

• Create technical drawings from specifications provided by design engineers
• Derive and prepare manufacturing and part drawings from existing designs
• Create and maintain assembly drawings
• Review drawings formally and technically
• Check consistency between drawings, bills of materials and master data
• Create, modify and maintain bills of materials in SAP
• Maintain part-tracking lists
• Provide administrative and technical support for ongoing development projects

Required profile

• Completed technical vocational training, preferably as Technical Product Designer or Technical Draftsperson
• Careful and structured working style, good technical understanding
• Fluent English; German is mandatory

Required skills

• Good knowledge of reading and creating technical drawings and of technical drawing standards
• Experience with a 2D/3D CAD system
• Knowledge of SAP, especially bills of materials and material master data, or willingness to learn
