Tax Senior Associate - Corporate Tax

About the role

PwC is looking for a Tax Senior Associate to join its Corporate Tax Services practice within the Tax department in Zagreb. The role sits in a team of consultants with extensive consulting and industry experience, working on several clients and reporting to managers and above.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive assistance in managing several clients while reporting to managers and above
• Build close relationships with junior staff and more senior colleagues
• Assist with the buy-side and sell-side of tax due diligence
• Help advise clients on the structuring of business transactions and their tax implications
• Review and prepare annual corporate income tax returns
• Research complex tax issues and interpret tax legislation
• Write advice on the tax consequences of ad hoc client queries

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• At least 2 years of experience in tax consulting, accounting or audit
• Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and solve business problems through research and consulting with subject-matter experts

Required skills

• High level of MS Office proficiency
• Tax consulting and advisory work
