Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist

About the role

TaskUs, a global provider of outsourced digital services and customer experience, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Operations (TAOps) Specialist in Zagreb. While the Talent Acquisition team manages candidates from advert to offer, the TAOps Specialist focuses on the period from offer through to hire, ensuring efficient onboarding of all candidates. The role works closely with candidates, recruiters, HR and Payroll, hiring managers and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete background checks, pre-employment medical requirements, job offers and hiring/contracting activity across multiple clients within agreed SLAs.
• Engage candidates directly to communicate offers clearly, support them with hiring and onboarding in the ATS, and gather feedback to improve the candidate experience.
• Advise on onboarding documentation, including identification, right to work documents and payroll requirements.
• Identify process improvements and refine recruitment workflows, tools and technologies.
• Maintain the ATS with accurate data and train recruiters and hiring managers on its use.
• Develop recruitment metrics and analytics reports and share insights with stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with external vendors such as payroll and background check providers.
• Stay up to date with labour laws and company policies, and support training materials and workshops for recruiters and hiring managers.
• Take part in process improvement and automation projects and support audit documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Recruitment Operations, HR Operations or a similar role.
• Experience managing hiring and contracting activity, onboarding documentation and background checks.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of employment laws and compliance best practices.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies.

Required skills

• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
• Proficiency with HR software and reporting tools
• Use of spreadsheets to track activity
