About the role

MEDIKA, Croatia's leading pharmaceutical wholesaler, is looking for an Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Specialist to join its logistics department in Zagreb. The role focuses on implementing occupational safety, fire protection and environmental measures to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Implement activities related to occupational safety, fire protection and environmental protection.
• Maintain legally required records and documentation.
• Organise and conduct training for employees on workplace safety and fire prevention.
• Co‑operate with competent authorities and external partners.
• Continuously improve safety processes and standards.

Required profile

• University degree (VŠS/VSS).
• Passed professional exam for Occupational Safety Specialist – Level II.
• Passed professional exam for responsible person for fire‑prevention measures.
• Relevant experience in similar positions.
• Intermediate knowledge of English (preferred).
• Category B driving licence.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to propose new solutions.
