SSC Account Receivable Team Lead Accountant

About the role

You will lead the Shared Service Center (SSC) operations for the Order to Cash (OTC) department, guiding a team of accountants in all accounts‑receivable activities. The role combines people leadership, process optimisation and deep system expertise to ensure accurate, efficient and compliant financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and develop a high‑performing AR team, set performance targets and provide coaching.
• Monitor KPIs, ensure service‑level agreements are met across all participating countries.
• Act as the final escalation point for complex queries and provide advanced support in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Identify and implement automation, RPA, PowerApps/Power Automate and PowerBI solutions to streamline workflows.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, including ERP migrations, M&A integrations and process standardisation.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and regulatory requirements; collaborate with audit teams.
• Perform factoring reconciliations and oversee daily AR operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an accounts‑receivable or finance team in a shared‑services environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on process quality and risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with centres of excellence.
