About the role

OTP Bank is seeking a Factoring Specialist to join its Factoring Operations team in Zagreb. The role involves processing payments, monitoring limits, managing payout requests, and providing reporting to clients and debtors within the corporate financing division.

Key responsibilities

• Post payments and control re‑posted payments.
• Check available credit limits, process payouts and monitor their execution.
• Maintain the record of payout requests, register new requests and track payments.
• Conduct periodic sample controls.
• Open internal accounts and record contracts.
• Issue invoices and verify calculated VAT.
• Prepare reports for clients and debtors (balance checks, IOS, etc.).
• Resolve simple operational complaints.

Required profile

• University degree in economics or finance (VŠS/VSS).
• At least one year of experience in banking or accounting/finance (preferred).
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Analytical, systematic and precise work style.
• High sense of responsibility and pro‑activity.
• Team‑oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Eager to learn, capable of taking on more complex tasks and working independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and find new solutions.

Required skills

• MS Office, especially MS Excel.
