Site Quality Manager (m/f)

About the role

Vertiv Croatia is looking for a Site Quality Manager (m/f) in Zagreb. The role ensures that project site activities follow Vertiv quality requirements, project requirements, approved documentation and standards, and that the site QA/QC process is established and coordinated. The manager works with Site Management, Project Management, Engineering, Commissioning, subcontractors, suppliers and internal and external QC resources.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the project Site Quality Plan in line with contractual, customer and Vertiv requirements.
• Develop, review and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists and quality control requirements.
• Communicate quality requirements, acceptance criteria, drawings and specifications to Site Management, subcontractors and QC personnel before work starts.
• Coordinate and support internal and external QC resources, including third-party inspection organisations.
• Ensure Hold Points, Witness Points and inspections are performed and documented; escalate significant quality issues and support RCA, CAPA and 8D investigations.
• Manage quality observations, defects and non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure quality records and traceability are kept.
• Coordinate inspections and complete site quality documentation, including the Quality Book for project handover.
• Monitor open quality items so they are resolved before commissioning and handover, and report quality status regularly.
• Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement of site QA/QC processes.

Required profile

• Mechanical, electrical, civil or related engineering education; university degree preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in quality, construction, installation, manufacturing or a similar technical environment.
• Experience with site QA/QC, inspections and quality documentation.
• Good English, computer literacy (MS Office), strong problem solving and attention to detail.
• Preferred: knowledge of ISO 9001, ITP development, NCR management, RCA/8D and CAPA, and experience with Procore or similar digital quality systems.
