About the role

We are looking for a Diesel Generator Service Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and commissioning of diesel‑electric generators. The role involves both regular and emergency service tasks on sites across Croatia and abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled servicing of diesel generators.
• Diagnose faults in engines, alternators and control systems.
• Replace oil, filters, belts, coolant and other consumables.
• Inspect batteries, charging alternators, starters and fuel systems.
• Conduct load tests on generators.
• Work with control systems such as ComAp, Deep Sea Electronics, DEIF, Woodward or similar.
• Repair electrical and mechanical failures.
• Commission generators and adjust basic parameters.
• Maintain service records and prepare reports.
• Travel to field locations in Croatia and internationally.

Required profile

• Proven experience servicing diesel engines, generators, work machines or trucks.
• Good knowledge of electrical principles and measurement instruments.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Independent, responsible and tidy work habits.
• Willingness to work on site and handle occasional interventions.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
