Senior .NET Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join Aircash Development in Split. You will own complex backend features from design through production, delivering scalable solutions that serve millions of users across the EU.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET Core/.NET Framework, ensuring clean, scalable code.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of features, including technical design, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Drive technical discussions, mentor engineers, and raise the engineering bar across the team.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, sharing root‑cause analysis and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to ensure thorough testing, smooth deployments, and high user satisfaction.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional .NET development experience with deep knowledge of .NET Core or .NET Framework.
• Proven ability to take complex problems from requirements to production and own the outcome.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and communicating technical decisions effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, comfortable working through ambiguous requirements.

Required skills

• .NET Core / .NET Framework (C#)
• MSSQL and Entity Framework / EF Core
• Elasticsearch integration
• Azure Service Bus and event‑driven architectures
• Microservices, RESTful APIs, asynchronous processing
• Observability tools such as New Relic or Seq
• Basic knowledge of AngularJS (plus)
