Senior .NET Software Developer

About the role

The Transformer Department of KONČAR Institute is seeking a Senior .NET Software Developer to design and maintain applications that support various stages of transformer design, data processing, reporting and visualization across desktop, web, mobile and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software tools for pre‑ and post‑processing of transformer design data.
• Create automated reporting and data‑visualisation features.
• Build and maintain long‑term applications for multiple client platforms (desktop, web, mobile, cloud).
• Collaborate with young researchers and experienced specialists in an R&D environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• C#/.NET, LINQ
• Object‑oriented programming and dependency injection
• Design and development of RESTful APIs (OpenAPI, OData)
• Unit and integration testing
• Git version control
• CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, GitLab or similar)
• Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Message‑oriented middleware (RabbitMQ, Kafka, MQTT/Mosquitto)
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server)
• Optional: WPF, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, Windows services, Linux daemons, Python, React.js, Rx.NET, Agile (Scrum, Kanban), design patterns, software architecture
