Senior električar / elektroničar za dizalice (m/ž)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced senior electrician/electronic engineer to maintain and service crane systems at our Rijeka facility. The role involves ensuring reliable operation of heavy‑industry electrical equipment and supporting the company’s growing international activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair and preventive maintenance of all electrical and electronic crane equipment.
• Diagnose faults and determine appropriate maintenance actions, including routine checks.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Work with PLC, Drive, HMI and SCADA systems to program and troubleshoot controls.
• Collaborate with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic teams for integrated equipment servicing.
• Provide technical support for high‑voltage and low‑voltage power systems.
• Occasionally travel to company terminals and overseas sites as required.

Required profile

• Technical education (Level VI) and formal qualification as an electrical/electronic engineer.
• Proven experience in heavy‑industry equipment maintenance.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Flexibility, high engagement and ability to work both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Drive, HMI and SCADA system operation.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• High‑voltage and low‑voltage electrical applications.
• Use of standard electrical tools and equipment.
• Siemens industry software and hardware knowledge (advantage).
• Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems related to crane operations.
