Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager / Manager – Deals & Transaction Services

About the role

PwC is expanding its Deals & Transaction Services team in Zagreb and is looking for professionals at Senior Consultant, Assistant Manager or Manager level. You will work on a variety of transactions – mergers, acquisitions, divestments and financing – helping clients make informed decisions and create long‑term value.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with PwC teams locally and across the SEE region, especially Slovenia.
• Engage with clients through meetings, calls and day‑to‑day communication.
• Perform financial due diligence, including statement analysis, data processing and trend identification.
• Develop and apply valuation models, conduct market research and prepare detailed valuation reports.
• Support corporate finance activities such as preparing client presentations, teasers and pitch materials.
• Lead small project teams (1‑4 members) and mentor junior colleagues.
• Contribute to business development and build internal and external networks.

Required profile

• Two to eight years of experience in corporate finance, valuations or financial due diligence.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to produce clear, insightful reports.
• Willingness to learn, curiosity and drive to grow within the firm.
• Fluency in English; local language skills are a plus.
